IPA - (or India Pale Ale) has evolved into the most aggressively hopped beer style of them all. If you like bitter, floral, earthy, citrusy, piney and fruity notes, you’ll like an IPA. The three main styles of IPA are American-style IPA, English-style IPA and Double or Imperial IPA.

PALE - An ale made with predominantly pale malt. Fruity, crisp and copper in color, pale ales are your session beers offering a broad range of flavors, bitterness and strength. There are 6 main types of pales: American Pale Ale, India Pale Ale (IPA), English Bitter / Ordinary Bitter, Strong Pale Ales (American-Style), American Amber Ale / Red Ale and Bière de Garde.

LAGER - The name lager is taken from the German word lagern, meaning “to store.” There is such a wide range of styles available within the lager category ranging from light to spicy, fruity and smoky. Some notable styles include: Helles Bock, Pilsner, Vienna Lager, American Dark Lagers, Bock Beer, Doppelbock and Märzenbier/Oktoberfest Beers.

AMBER/RED - American style of beer (ale or lager) that’s made with specialty malts. The emphasis is on the malt which lends to flavor notes of toast, caramel, buttery toffee, and some malty sweetness. This style generally has a nice dry finish and can be offset with hops.

STOUT AND PORTER - Fans of darker, silky and complex Porters and Stouts can come to our taproom and expect something on tap.

SOUR - For those that like layers of flavor we will be offering this specialized beer in rotating styles of: American wild ale, Gose, Lambic, Flanders and Berliner Weisse.

SEASONAL - Cactus Taproom will offer beers that are in season or brewed for a holiday or festival period.

CIDER - We will offer a variety of hard ciders available on tap and by bottle.
